The second Vice President of Zanzibar Hon. Hemed Suleimani Abdullah has officially launched the road from Mwera Polisi to Kibonde Mzungu used by the people of Mwera Polisi, Gudini, Misufini, Kibirikani to Kibonde Mzungu with a length of 6.10 kilometers In addition, Hon. Hemedi has said that road infrastructure is an important sector for the community because it promotes the economy in our nation, so citizens should take good care of it. On his part, the Minister of Construction, Communication, and Transport, Dr. Khalid Salum Mohammed, has thanked the President of Zanzibar and the chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, for bringing great success in the road sector by building roads with asphalt levels in cities and villages. The secretary general of the Ministry of Construction, Communications, and Transport, Dr. Habiba Hassan Omar, has explained that the internal roads will continue to be built, with Nduja and Pemba, which are 275.9 kilometers long. The cost of construction of those roads is 80 million and three hundred thousand US dollars, and the construction time of those roads is 40 months.

The Minister of State, Office of the President, Constitution, Law, Service, and Good Governance Hon. Haroun Ali Sleyman has said that the roads that are being built will help facilitate travel and increase economic services for citizens and the nation in general. He said that in the Laying of the Foundation Stone of the Union Road, Jang’ombe Miembeni, Kidongo Chekudu Mental Hospitals with a Length of 4.89 Km, He said that the Government is developing various strategies to build road infrastructure to remove the citizens from the inconvenience of accessing important services over long distances. The Secretary General of the Ministry of Construction, Communications and Transport Dr. Habiba Hassan Omar has said that the roads are part of the implementation of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi Manifesto and Development Vision through the Transport Policy, which are expected to cost 3 million, 46,300,000 US dollars, up to Its Completion. Giving Regional Greetings on Behalf of The Regional Head of Urban Magharib The Head of the urban district, Hamid Seif Said, said that the Government continues to honor the revolution to achieve further development and promises to evaluate the leaders' efforts.
